David Byers is a senior partner in the Toronto office and co-chair of the firm’s national litigation practice. He is highly experienced in complex commercial litigation, appearing before all levels of trial and appellate court in Ontario, and has particular expertise in product liability, securities, insolvency and insurance, as well as in domestic and international arbitration. He is recognized in Chambers Global and Chambers Canada for Dispute Resolution and Restructuring/Insolvency, The Best Lawyers in Canada, the International Who’s Who of Insolvency and Restructuring Lawyers and Who’s Who Legal Canada, The Lexpert®/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, Lexpert® Guide to the Leading US/Canada Cross-Border Litigation Lawyers in Canada, and The Legal Media Group Guide to the World’s Leading Lawyers.
