His practice focuses primarily on advising foreign and domestic clients on a range of mergers & acquisitions, strategic and private equity transactions, corporate finance matters, as well as insolvency-based restructurings and related transactions. His clients include US, Canadian and foreign public, private and multi-national companies across a broad range of industries. Recent work includes acting for TPG Capital in connection with the US$850 million acquisition of the Property InformationBusiness of MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., Sysco Corporation in connection with the $440 million acquisition of the assets of SERCA Foodservice Inc. and other affiliates from Sobeys Inc., KRG Capital Partners in connection with its investment in Focus Corporation and several add-on acquisitions and GE Capital Solutions Canada in connection with its purchase of Citigroup's Canadian commercial lending and leasing business, part of GE Capital's purchase of CitiCapital, Citigroup's North American commercial lending and leasing business. Member of The Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. Admitted to the Ontarion Bar in 2000.
