Partner and a member of the firm’s Partnership Board and Audit Committee. From 2005 until 2011, he headed the Montréal Business Law Group. He practises in the areas of M&A, complex reorganizations, securities and corporate finance, including advising senior management and boards of directors. He is included in the 2012 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada, in the IFLR1000: The Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms 2012 edition as a "leading lawyer" in restructuring and insolvency, and in the 2011 Lexpert® Guide to the Leading US/Canada Cross-Border Corporate Lawyers in Canada in M&A and Corporate Finance & Securities. He was recognized by Lexpert® as one of the "40 Corporate Lawyers to Watch" in 2006. Member of the Québec (1986) and New York State (1991) Bars. He has been a lecturer in corporate finance at McGill’s Faculty of Law since 1996 and a lecturer and panellist at a number of conferences. Recent mandates include representing AbitibiBowater Group in its cross-border CCAA/Ch11 restructuring.
