Senior partner and member of the Real Estate Group. Primarily engaged in real estate law with particular emphasis on acquisitions, developments and financings of major commercial properties, including residential, retail, industrial and hotels. His practice also includes joint venture agreements, management arrangements and cross-border real estate transactions. Neil also regularly represents major financial institutions on reorganization and insolvency matters. Some of Neil’s clients include major private and public real estate corporations and REITs, private equity groups and banks and pension funds. Neil has been at the cutting edge of sophisticated real estate transactions and has achieved a strong national reputation in the field. He was involved in many high profile transactions such as the sale of ICAO’s iconic Montreal headquarters, Elad Canada’s sale of Le Nordelec to Allied Properties REIT and several other notable transactions.
