Partner in Torys’ litigation and dispute resolution practice, and competition and antitrust practice. Practice focuses on competition litigation, class action defence, corporate/commercial disputes and securities litigation. Also practises in the areas of public law, constitutional law and employment. Has appeared as counsel in the Supreme Court of Canada, in all levels of court in Ontario, and in the Federal Court, as well as before the Competition Tribunal and the Ontario Securities Commission. Member of the Antirust Section of the American Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates’ Society. Has taught advocacy and lectured on class actions and competition law issues at the Osgoode Hall Law School, the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and at programs run by The Advocates’ Society and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
