Peter Wardle is one of the founding partners of Wardle Daley Bernstein Bieber LLP, a litigation boutique that focuses on corporate commercial litigation, securities litigation, class actions, directors' and officers' liability and professional liability. Peter has been involved in a large number of trials and court applications involving shareholder and partnership disputes, securities, banking, competition, professional negligence, wrongful dismissal, estates, construction, real estate and environmental issues, as well as a wide variety of contractual disputes. He also has participated in a number of arbitrations involving commercial issues and has mediated a number of commercial disputes. He has acted as counsel at two provincial commissions of inquiry and has prosecuted professional discipline cases. He has published a number of practice articles. Peter was a director of The Advocates’ Society from 2000 to 2006 and chaired its Education Committee. Peter is a Bencher of The Law Society of Upper Canada and currently chairs its Professional Development & Competence committee. He also chairs a committee of the Federation of Canadian Law Societies.
