On June 17, 2002, Bentall Capital Limited Partnership acquired the principal assets and business of Beutel Goodman Real Estate Group Inc. (BGREG), adding over $1 billion in managed real estate investments to its portfolio. This acquisition has made Bentall Capital the leading real estate investment manager in Canada with responsibility for the management of $6 billion invested in real estate on behalf of major institutional investors in Canada and the U.S.
