Jay is a partner practicing corporate restructuring & insolvency, private equity & investments, private company acquisitions, banking, debt financings, structured & project finance. He has been lead counsel in Canadian and cross-border insolvencies and is experienced in the formation of private investment funds, regulation of banks & financial institutions, and corporate governance. He has also helped develop asset-backed securities and derivative businesses in Canada. Jay is a Fellow of the Insolvency Institute of Canada and of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers.
