Ivanhoe Cambridge sells interest in Fairview Mall

On February 7, 2018, Ivanhoe Cambridge Inc. completed the sale of a 50-per-cent interest in one of the leading shopping centres in Canada, being Fairview Mall in Toronto, to 404 & Sheppard LP. 

Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP represented Ivanhoe Cambridge Inc. with a team comprised of Marty Emmons, Andrea Centa, Allyson Roy, Jennifer Parker, Scott Ma and Joanne Meadowcroft (real estate), Scott Conover and Ryan Schnier (corporate/commercial), Huy Do (competition), Mark Penner (intellectual property) and Paul Cabana (tax). Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP acted for Cadillac Fairview, the co-owner and property manager of Fairview Mall, with a team comprised of Greg Howard, David Reiner and Jason Stapley (real estate), Ian Crosbie (tax) and Anita Banicevic (competition). Cadillac Fairview was also represented by in-house counsel, Ron Strathdee.
