Brookfield Properties Ltd. issued $71 million aggregate principal amount of first mortgage bonds, secured by the Bay Wellington Tower (BCE Place) in Toronto. The deal closed on August 30, 2002. TD Securities Inc. and Brascan Financial Corp. acted as agent for Brookfield in connection with the financing.
