On October 8, 2009, Chartwell Seniors Housing Real Estate Investment Trust, a real estate investment trust that owns and manages a complete range of seniors' housing communities, completed a public offering of 14,375,000 trust units. The offering included the exercise in full of an over-allotment option for 1,875,000 units, at a price of $6 per unit for gross proceeds of $86,250,000. The offering was completed through a syndicate of investment dealers led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc.
