DURA Automotive Systems Enters Credit Facility

On October 31, 2003, Rochester, Michigan-based DURA Automotive Systems, Inc. and certain of its subsidiaries, including DURA Automotive Systems (Canada), Ltd., entered into an amended and restated credit agreement with Bank of America, NA, as collateral agent and syndication agent, JPMorgan Chase Bank, as administrative agent, and certain other financial institutions, which provides for credit facilities in the amount of US$323.125 million.

DURA Automotive Systems was represented in Canada by Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, with a team that included Derek Vesey, Robert Murphy and Brooke Jamison; and in the US by Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago, with a team that included John Schoenfeld, Maureen Sweeney, David Buchanan and Michelle Mulkern.

The lenders were represented in Canada by Merie-Anne Beavis and Jennifer Bensky of Ogilvy Renault; and in the US by Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, with a team that included James Knight and Colette Pollitt.
