EarthFirst Canada Inc. Completes $140M IPO

On December 11, 2007, EarthFirst Canada Inc. (“EarthFirst”) completed its initial public offering of units (“Units”) consisting of one common share (“Common Shares”) and one-half a Common Share purchase warrant of EarthFirst and flow-through shares within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada) for total proceeds of $140,000,000. EarthFirst is a developer of renewable wind energy in Canada.

The offering was made through a syndicate of underwriters co-led by GMP Securities LP and Scotia Capital Inc. and included National Bank Financial Inc., TD Securities Inc., Canaccord Capital Corporation, HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Orion Securities Inc. and Fraser Mackenzie Limited (the “Underwriters”).
