Fortis Purchases Kings Place in Fredericton

Kings Place in downtown Fredericton, New Brunswick, was sold on April 12, 2002 to Fortis Properties Corporation, the real estate unit of the utility company Fortis Inc. The value of the acquisition is confidential. Kings Place consists of two office towers and downtown’s largest retail complex.
The property was owned through a nominee company on behalf of Kings Place II Limited, a subsidiary of The Bank of Nova Scotia, Aliant Inc., Transmetro Properties Limited and Bryman Enterprises Limited.
