Garda World Security Corporation completed the acquisition G4S Cash Solutions (Canada) Limited for aggregate consideration of $110 million (before adjustments).
Garda World provides business solutions and security services around the world.
G4S in Canada provides specialized services for healthcare, oil and gas, retail loss prevention, financial institutions, governments and more. G4S Cash is a cash solutions provider, which includes all outsourcing of cash cycle management, such as cash transportation, cash management, cash consulting, ATM management and retail cash management. As part of the acquisition, approximately 2,400 G4S Cash employees across Canada will join Garda World.
