Hudson’s Bay Company acquires Gilt Groupe Holdings

On February 1, 2016, Hudson’s Bay Company completed its acquisition of Gilt Groupe Holdings, Inc. for US$250 million.

Gilt Groupe is a membership-based online retailer that caters to shoppers in the millennial generation.

Hudson’s Bay Company opened its first stand-alone Gilt shop inside its new Saks Off 5th store in Manhattan on March 3, 2016.
