Joint Venture Creates CanDeal.ca

CanDeal.ca Inc. is a joint venture company created by six of Canada's leading investment dealersl: BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., National Bank Financial, RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Scotia Capital Inc. and TD Securities Inc., and two technology partners, Basis100 Inc. and MoneyLine Network, Inc. Upon receipt of required regulatory approvals, CanDeal.ca Inc. will provide electronic trading services for Canadian bond and money market products by displaying the best bid and offer, price and yield, from all participating dealers for each security. Clients will be able to simultaneously request trades with multiple dealers thereby increasing efficiency and accuracy in the Canadian fixed income markets.
