Lavery de Billy LLP has appointed Simon Clément as managing partner of the firm’s Québec City office. Clément is a commercial litigator who has experience in shareholder conflicts, corporate reorganizations and insolvency, breach of contract and urgent proceedings. He advises clients on acquisitions and sales and chairs the Québec City division of the M&A Club. Clément will manage the 44 lawyers and other employees at the Québec City office and steer the firm’s growth in the region, said a firm announcement.
