Macquarie Infrastructure Partners Acquires Fraser Surrey Docks

Macquarie Infrastructure Partners completed its acquisition of Fraser Surrey Docks from privately held APTL Terminals Ltd. on March 21, 2007. Fraser Surrey Docks operates a container and break bulk port terminal on a 132-acre site situated on the main arm of the Fraser River in Vancouver. The amount of the deal is undisclosed.

Macquarie Infrastructure Partners was represented in-house by its general counsel, Robert Lawsky, who was assisted by Lawson Lundell LLP with a team that included John Smith, Michael Lee, Randall Chatwin and Lana Shipley (M&A); Len Glass (tax); Ed Wilson (real estate); Valerie Mann (competition and Investment Canada); and Rob Sider (employment).
