MLT Aikins LLP adds new lawyers in Calgary, Vancouver and Regina

MLT Aikins LLP announced that Leigh Peters has joined the firm as counsel in its Calgary office, effective Feb. 3.

MLT Aikins LLP announced that Leigh Peters has joined the firm as counsel in its Calgary office, effective Feb. 3. Peters’ practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, especially in relation to energy projects. She has advised clients in the energy industry through both private practice and in-house positions.

The firm announced that David Overall has joined the firm as associate in its Vancouver office, effective Jan. 6. Overall’s practice centres on corporate and commercial and securities law, with a focus on First Nations and the natural resources sector.

MLT Aikins also announced that Ashton Butler has joined the firm as associate in its Regina office, effective Jan. 3. Butler’s practice focuses on labour and employment law and litigation. She has advised clients on a variety of matters, including regarding the hiring, discipline and termination of workers, as well as the negotiation and drafting of employment agreements and other employment-related contracts.
