Randall Hofley named GC of Competition Bureau Legal Services

In Ottawa, Randall Hofley, a competition law partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, was appointed to the role of General Counsel at the Competition Bureau Legal Services for a two-year term

Randall Hofley, a competition law partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, was appointed to the role of General Counsel at the Competition Bureau Legal Services for a two-year term. He will remain a partner at the firm but will be on leave under the Government of Canada’s Interchange Program. Hofley previously served as Special Counsel to Commissioner of Competition John Pecman. According to Canadian Lawyer magazine, Hofley hopes to make “a contribution to the enforcement of competition law” in Canada.
