On February 1, 2007 RSAC Canada Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., and RSAC Canada (Tube) ULC, a wholly owned subsidiary of RSAC Canada Ltd., completed the purchase of the assets of the Encore Group. The Encore Group is a recognized market leader in the processing and distribution of carbon and alloy bar and stainless steel sheet, plate and bar products for customers in a wide range of industries. Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. is one of the largest metals service centre companies in the United States.
