Rogers Communications Acquires Atria Networks

On January 4, 2011, Rogers Communications Inc. (“Rogers”) acquired Atria Networks LP from Birch Hill Equity Partners (“Birch Hill”) for $425 million, subject to certain adjustments.

Atria serves more than 1,100 customers spanning the public sector, enterprise and carrier providers and is the owner and operator of one of Ontario's largest fibre-optic networks, including 5,600 fibre route kilometers and more than 3,800 on-net buildings in high-growth Ontario territories.
