SmartCentres and Calloway Real Estate Investment Trust formed a 50 / 50 joint venture to develop a vast tract of land (53 acres) within the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (“VMC”). Located at the intersection of Highways 400 and 7 in the City of Vaughan, the VMC is an emerging urban core within the Northern Greater Toronto Area.
