Sun Life Capital Trust Issues SLEECS

Sun Life Capital Trust, a subsidiary of Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, completed an offering of $200 million of Sun Life ExchangEable Capital Securities series B (SLEECS series B) on June 25, 2002. Sun Life Capital Trust is a special purpose entity set up to issue securities that qualify as tier-one capital for regulatory purposes. This offering is a follow-up to the $950 million offering of SLEECS series A last fall.
