Teranet Completes Private Placement in October 2003

On October 23, 2003, Teranet Inc. completed a private placement of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 5.737 per cent junior bonds, series 2003-1 due on March 31, 2017. The underwriting syndicate was led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc., and included Scotia Capital Inc. and TD Securities Inc.

Teranet was represented by in-house counsel Pamela Fruitman, and by Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP with a team that included Greg Peebles, Tom Koutoulakis and Chris Norton (tax) and Bruce Bell (banking).
