In Montreal, BLG welcomed the Honourable Louise Arbour to its firm as Counsel. Arbour is a former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, and most recently served as president and CEO of the International Crisis Group. Arbour served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada for the period of September 1999 to July 2004.
