Thomas Timmins is named leader of Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP energy group

Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP has named Thomas Timmins leader of the firm’s energy group. Timmins is partner in Toronto and the firm’s press release said he “has led on a number of the firm’s most significant power sector mandates” including “Canadian and international generation, distribution and transmission sector transactions, as well as key advisory roles for utilities, government agencies and system operators.” Timmins has been head of Gowling’s global renewable energy group. Timmins is also past chair of the Canadian Solar Industries Association and is adjunct professor of the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law.
