Thomson Reuters closes US$500M notes offering

On May 9, 2016, Thomson Reuters Corporation (TSX/NYX: TRI) closed its offering of US$500 million principal amount of 3.35 per cent notes due 2026.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman, Sachs & Co., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the syndicate of underwriters, which included Barclays Capital Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Academy Securities, Inc., BMO Capital Markets Corp., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC., Mizuho Securities USA Inc., RBC Capital Markets, LLC., Standard Chartered Bank and TD Securities (USA) LLC.

Thomson Reuters Corporation was represented by an in-house team led by Marc Gold and Mark Irving. Torys LLP provided external support with a team that included Cornell Wright, Mile Kurta, David Forrester and Eme Baack (corporate/securities).

The investment dealers were represented by Shearman & Sterling LLP with a team that included Lisa Jacobs, Kevin Roggow and Joanna Enns (capital markets).
