TrizecHahn's Sale Continues

TrizecHahn Corporation has continued the sale of the majority of its Canadian office portfolio. On January 31, 2001, TrizecHahn sold its interest in the approximately 700,000 square foot Canada Place office building in Edmonton to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Public Works and Government Services Canada. Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP assisted TrizecHahn’s in-house counsel Beth Vogel in the negotiation and completion of this transaction with a team that included Greg Howard, Greg Southam and Brett Seifred. Local counsel was also involved on behalf of TrizecHahn, comprised of the Bennett Jones LLP Edmonton team of Mark Kortbeek and Carole Hunt. Colin Wetter of the Department of Justice Canada acted for Public Works.
