Viger-Denonville Wind Energy Project Gets Financing

Parc éolien communautaire Viger-Denonville, s.e.c., a limited partnership held by Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. and the MRC de Rivière-du-Loup, has closed a $61.7-million non-recourse construction and term project financing for the Viger-Denonville wind energy project located in Quebec, Canada. This financing has been arranged by KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH as agent and lender.

Innergex was represented in-house by Nathalie Théberge, senior director, corporate legal affairs and corporate secretary, and by Mathieu Compagnat, legal counsel; and by a team from McCarthy Tétrault LLP under the supervision of Marc Dorion (energy and project financing), led by Richard O'Doherty (energy and project financing), and composed of Louis-Nicolas Boulanger (energy and project financing), Laurent Gauthier (project financing), Danielle Drolet (real estate), Sébastien Thomas (real estate and municipal matters), Martin Boodman, Marie-Pier Gosselin (real estate) and Dominique Amyot-Bilodeau (environment).
