Vista Equity Partners Acquires Indus International

On January 9, 2007 Vista Equity Partners, through its affiliate Vista Equity Fund II, L.P, acquired Indus International Inc., a publicly traded corporation and a leading service delivery management (SDM) solution provider, by a reverse cash merger. The acquisition complements Vista's existing portfolio company, MDSI Mobile Data Solutions Inc, a provider of workforce management software. The all-cash transaction was valued at $3.85 per share for a total acquisition price of US$240.3 million.
Financing for the merger included debt financing in the amount of USD$120 million provided in two tranches by Wells Fargo Foothill, Inc.
