YottaYotta Inc. Secures $25M Financing

On July 26, 2000,YottaYotta Inc. raised $25 million in a round B financing. The investors include Davenport Capital Ventures of Boston, Optical Capital Group and Morgan Keegan of Memphis. Montreal-based Techno-Cap, who helped put the deal together, was the only Canadian investor to participate in the latest round. YottaYotta Inc. was represented by Rita Lc de Santis and Geneviève Marchand of Goodman Phillips & Vineberg SENC in Montreal, TechnoCap was represented by Michael Gaon at Lapointe Rosenstein in Montreal and the American investors were represented by Philip von Mehren and David Hesse of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in New York. YottaYotta Inc. makes software and hardware that allows companies to dramatically increase the storage capacity of their networking systems. The name YottaYotta comes from the term yottabyte which is one trillion terabytes of data.
