Canada Dominion Completes $163.7M IPO

On March 6, 2007 Canada Dominion Resources 2007 Limited Partnership completed its initial public offering of limited partnership units, raising gross proceeds of $163,738,600. CDR 2007 also entered into a loan facility to finance the offering expenses and the agents' fees. The syndicate of agents was co-led by RBC Capital Markets, CIBC World Markets Inc. and Dundee Securities Corporation and included National Bank Financial Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., TD Securities Inc., Berkshire Securities Inc., Blackmont Capital Inc., Canaccord Capital Corporation, HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Raymond James Ltd., Desjardins Securities Inc. and Wellington West Capital Inc.

CDR 2007 and its manager, Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Ltd., were represented by Amy Satov, vice-president, legal & compliance and by a team from Stikeman Elliott LLP that consisted of Darin Renton, Jacky Luk, Casey Howell (corporate/securities), John Lorito, Christian Meighen, Trevor McGowan (tax) and Mairi MacGillivray (banking).
