G.T.C. Transcontinental Completes Share Offering

G.T.C. Transcontinental Group Ltd. completed a transaction for the offering of $138,039,525 of class A subordinate voting shares on June 25, 2002. A short-form prospectus dated June 14, 2002 qualified the sale of three million class A subordinate voting shares issued by the corporation and of 507,993 class A subordinate voting shares by way of a secondary offering. The offering was underwritten on a bought deal basis by Scotia Capital Inc. Based in Montreal, G.T.C. Transcontinental is one of the largest commercial printers in North America.

G.T.C. Transcontinental was represented in-house by vice-president, legal affairs and administration, and corporate secretary, Pierre Poirier; and director, legal affairs, and assistant secretary, Dany Meloul; assisted by Stikeman Elliott with a team that included André Roy and Pierre-Yves Leduc.
