Gildan Activewear Inc. acquires Doris Inc.

Gildan Activewear Inc. reached a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Doris Inc., a marketer and manufacturer of sheer hosiery, legwear and shapewear products to retailers in Canada and in the United States. The initial purchase price is approximately $110 million, with possible additional contingent payments of up to $10 million, which are based on the achievement of certain targets for growth in sales revenues. The acquisition was completed on July 7, 2014.
