The Toronto-Dominion Bank Issues €2 Billion 5.375% Deposit Notes under its US$8 Billion Programme for the Issuance of Notes

On May 14, 2008, The Toronto-Dominion Bank issued €2 billion 5.375 per cent Deposit Notes due May 2015 (listed on the London Stock Exchange) pursuant to its US$8 billion Programme for the Issuance of Notes. The joint-lead managers for the offering were Barclays Bank PLC, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch and The Toronto-Dominion Bank, and the co-lead managers were HSBC Bank plc, Dresdner Bank AG London Branch and Lloyds TSB Bank plc. The Issuer was represented internally by Jennifer Soward, Atif Islam and Rasha El Sissi of TD Bank Financial Group, by Phil Moore and Wendi Locke of McCarthy Tétrault LLP and by Susan Mann and Peter Noble of Ogilvy Renault LLP.
