Ms. Slivinskas is an accomplished lawyer with 20 years of experience in pension plan administration, corporate governance, risk management and compliance who provides strategic and practical solutions to clients. Prior to joining FSCO as Legal Counsel, she held the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan and also worked at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan as the Associate General Counsel & Director, Pension Law and Policy Group. She is Past Chair of the Pension and Benefits Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee of the National Pension and Benefits Law Section Executive of the Canadian Bar Association. Ms. Slivinskas graduated from the University of Western Ontario Law School in 1995 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997. She also holds a certificate in Adjudication for Administrative Agencies, Boards & Tribunals, Osgoode Professional Development and SOAR, 2016.
