Nicola Di Iorio is a partner with BCF s.e.n.c.r.l. in Montréal where he practises employment and labour law. He is also the Member of Parliament for the federal riding of Saint-Léonard – Saint-Michel, as well as being co-founder of Cool Taxi, a program for young drivers to raise awareness about road safety. In addition to practising law, Nicola teaches labour law, administrative law and civil liberties at various institutions, including the Barreau du Québec’s École de formation professionnelle (since 1983) and McGill University’s Faculty of Management (since 1990). In addition to being a highly sought-after speaker, Nicola co-authored two works on labour standards, published by Éditions Revue de droit of the Université de Sherbrooke, of which he was the director from 1984 to 1987. He has also published articles related to his numerous fields of expertise. Nicola heads the editorial team that publishes the annual Droit du travail, part of the Collection de droit of the École du Barreau du Québec.
