Nancy E. Claridge was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 and joined Carters Professional Corporation, becoming a Partner in 2012. She assists clients locally, as well as nationally and internationally, in the areas of corporate/commercial law, anti-terrorism law, real estate law, charity and not-for-profit law and wills and estates. She is President of the Dufferin County Law Association and a member of the CBA and OBA. Nancy graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005, where she received the Dean’s Gold Key Award and the Legal & Literary Society’s Student Honour Award. While at Osgoode Hall, she was a Senior Editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper Obiter Dicta, and participated in the Innocence Project. Nancy obtained a BA (Hons.) and an MA in political science from York University. Prior to attending Osgoode Hall, Nancy worked for a publisher developing online legal research databases, as well as contributing to texts on legal research and online and print publications. In the community, Nancy is a Director with the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival, on the Executive Committee of the Greater Dufferin Area Estate Planning Council and on the Upper Grand District School Board Compliance Audit Committee, amongst other volunteer activities.
