Senior partner Elizabeth Harrison, QC, practises in the corporate, M&A, and securities fields. She has represented boards of directors, investment bankers and public corporations in M&A transactions, prospectus offerings, private placements, takeover bids, open market transactions, acquisitions of control, related-party transactions, privatizations, proxy contests and other securities-related matters, strategic planning, and reorganizations. She is the Director of public and private companies and charitable organizations. She was Chair of the BC Ferry Services Corp and Executive Director of the Wise Persons Committee to review the structure of securities regulations in Canada. Elizabeth lectures in the corporate and securities fields. She has served as advisor to the Canada Business Corporations Act and the Business Corporations Act (BC).
