Alison Gray is a litigation partner in Gowling WLG’s Calgary office. A trusted advisor, Alison helps her clients realize their goals through the prevention, mitigation, or resolution of business risks and disputes. Alison has considerable experience in acting on complex and high profile litigation matters in the areas of energy, construction/engineering, shareholder disputes and fraud recovery. Alison also represents medical professionals in malpractice litigation, and professional disciplinary and privacy matters. Her practice also involves appeals from, and judicial review of, decisions of administrative and regulatory bodies. Alison regularly appears before all levels of courts in Alberta, and has appeared in courts in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario and Québec, and the Federal Court. Most recently, she acted as trial counsel in an $80 million dollar engineering/construction dispute. Alison is involved with numerous legal groups and currently serves on the Board of the Association of Women Lawyers and Calgary Legal Guidance, and is a member of the Legal Program Committee of LEAF, as has acted as legal counsel for LEAF. Alison is also a volunteer instructor for the Trial Advocacy course at the University of Calgary.
