Called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1985 and in Ontario in 1999. Gwen is a senior member of the Tax Group at Wilson Vukelich. Since 1989, Gwen's practice has been concentrated in the trusts and taxation area, and she continues to practise in that area, focusing on trust, estate planning, and business succession planning, including advising on the variation and wind up of trusts and estates and on tax compliance issues for trustees. Gwen has lectured on various topics relating to estate planning, tax considerations in estate administration, and post mortem planning, most recently through Osgoode Professional Development and the Law Society of Ontario. Gwen is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Gwen has served on the committees and boards of several charities and not for profits and enjoys assisting with governance issues for these boards.
