Robert MacFarlane is a partner with Bereskin & Parr LLP and past Head of the firm's Litigation Practice Group. Robert’s practice focuses on litigation for patent, trademark, copyright and confidential information cases. He has about 40 years of litigation experience and has appeared in the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He is frequently ranked by several recognized legal publications as one of Canada’s top patent litigators and has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Robert is the author of a number of published articles and of the “Limitation Periods” and “Interest” chapters in the book Intellectual Property Disputes: Resolutions and Remedies.
