Greg is Practice Group Leader of the International Trade Group and practises international trade, customs and commodity tax law. He regularly represents clients with respect to cross-border trade and investment issues, including compliance with international agreements (such as the North American Free Trade Agreement, the World Trade Organization and its various agreements), other bilateral and regional trade and investment agreements, export controls, sanctions, export/import licences and procurement disputes. Greg has substantial experience in, and regularly assists clients with, trade remedy matters, with emphasis on antidumping and anti-subsidy investigations and appeals. Greg has expertise in all areas of customs law. He also assists clients with respect to planning, compliance and appeals involving GST/HST, excise levies and other commodity taxes. Greg is co-Chair of the Customs Law Committee, Section of International Law and Practice and the ABA; chair of the Customs Committee of the Commodity Tax and Customs and Trade Section of the CBA; member of the Advisory Committee of the CITT and the Trade Compliance and Recourse Subcommittee of the BCCC of the Canada Border Services Agency; and board member of I.E. Canada.
