Bill is a partner who practises in the areas of all litigation matters related to business law. He has a particular practice focus on corporate commercial matters, construction and development law, insolvency law, including numerous cross-border cases, securities law matters, and corporate governance issues. Bill has appeared before all levels of the courts system in British Columbia, the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, the BC Securities Commission and numerous other administrative tribunals and arbitration boards. Bill has practised in the full range of dispute resolution contexts from traditional trials and related pre-trial procedures to arbitrations and mediations. He has written and taught in the area of alternative dispute resolution and brings that experience to his practice. Bill is currently an Adjunct Professor of law at the University of British Columbia. Bill is a member of Insolvency Institute of Canada and was a founding member of the Dean's Advisory Committee to the National Centre for Business Law at the University of British Columbia.
