Chair Emeritus, BLG. Guy focuses his practice on commercial litigation including class actions, administrative law and constitutional law, and he is also often retained in complex cases of all types. Fully bilingual, he has an active practice in Ontario and Québec. Guy pleads frequently before the Supreme Court of Canada and the Superior and Appeal Courts of Ontario and Québec, as well as the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Director of The Advocates' Society, and actively participates in the Supreme Court of Canada Advocacy Institute. As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto, he teaches courses focused on the Supreme Court of Canada. He is also highly recognized in various industry directories, including Chambers Global: The World's Leading Lawyers for Business (band 1, dispute resolution), The Best Lawyers in Canada and Who's Who Legal. Guy was named Advocatus Emeritus by the Québec Bar for "outstanding contributions to the legal profession."
