Practice encompasses advocacy and advisory work in the areas of labour and employment law, human rights and privacy. Focuses on labour relations, grievance arbitration, collective bargaining and personnel management. Has extensive expertise in advising and representing federally-regulated employers. Represents employers before various administrative tribunals, such as labour boards, labour arbitrators, human rights tribunals and adjudicators and appeals officers under Part II and III of the Canada Labour Code. Also regularly appears before the Federal Courts of Canada and superior courts in judicial review proceedings and appeals. Member of the Federal Courts' Labour Law, Human Rights, Pension Benefits, Privacy and Access Review Liaison Committee. Was Chair of the CBA National Labour and Employment Law section in 2013–2015 and Member of the CIRB Client Consultation Committee in 2012–2015. Is a Founding Member and was a Director of CACE from 2003 to 2005. Co-author of Federal Labour Law and Practice, published by Canada Law Book in 2013, and Le Congédiement en droit québecois, Yvon Blais. Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Obtained MBA and LLL from the University of Ottawa in 1991. Called to the Québec Bar in 1992.
