Partner in BLG's Ottawa office. Practises insurance litigation. Acts for several insurers in all types of matters, including defence, subrogation, and coverage. Represents insurance brokers, stockbrokers, mortgage brokers, engineers, healthcare professionals, and public servants in the professional liability context. Has considerable experience defending insurers in all manner of insurance claims, defending professionals in professional liability claims, and advising corporations with respect to directors’ and officers’ liability insurance. Part-time professor, Insurance Law at the University of Ottawa. Received a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in 1993 and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1997 from Queen’s University. Called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 1999.
