Mathieu Fournier has been practising labour and employment law for the past eleven years. He counsels and represents employers and employer associations on group and individual labor relations, minimum labour standards, workplace accidents and occupational diseases, occupational health & safety, human rights, and administrative law. He handles collective bargaining on behalf of employers and employer associations throughout Québec and frequently represents clients in court and before administrative tribunals. Mathieu also practises in sports law, representing sports leagues and organizations in particular. He has been involved in the salary arbitration process and has published a number of articles and given talks on labour relations as part of the National Hockey League's activities. He has particular expertise in early childhood issues, having acted as legal counsel and attorney for a number of daycare centres (CPEs) and coordinating offices for family daycare centers in Québec.
